Baba Jaga oder auch Baba Yaga ist eine weibliche Mythengestalt aus slavischen Märchen und Sagen. Man könnte auch Hexe sagen. Mussorgski hat ihr in 'Bilder einer Ausstellung' ein Musikstück gewidmet.
