Dark Matter Freak Army - The Origin

This is the first Part of a Comic I am currently working on.
It is about how the characters get what they are.

For the text boxes I choose a "typewriter" style font as it reminds me to the self-made tapes recorded in dad's garage of the Trash and Punk Bands of the 80's.

On two sides I used charcoal to get a deeper expression of emotions.

I covered the splatter scene at the last page as it might too disturbing for kids.
I am not really sure if I will keep this or maybe draw another, funnier scene.
All in all it should become no classical horror story.
